Journaling techniques you can learn from your cat
There is one thing you can all learn from your pets, especially the cat, and that is the importance of taking care of yourself.
Cats are masters of self-care.
Without the fuss of water, soap or bubbles, they can keep themselves completely clean.
They can sleep almost anywhere, and they also know how to demand love and attention when they want it.
And, their purr can actual heal our hearts and our bones!
How cool is that?
In fact, cats have been associated with writing for as long as we humans could write. They feature in a lot of books as mysterious characters who add more to the richness of a story than most humans.
Slow Down and Write
If you own a cat you have probably experienced it hopping up next to you and lying across your notebook.
This normally happens when you are just about to begin writing, and may be frustrating.
Is it a bad thing, though?
Perhaps your cat is helping you stop, think and reflect a little bit more before you begin to write in your journal.
We all rush into nearly everything we do, but journaling shouldn’t be one of those things.
We need to take time out and learn to write in our journal in a more cat-like manner.
Take a lesson from your feline and stop, make yourself more beautiful, and let the world know how satisfied you are with who you are right here and now, and purr.
Then you’ll be ready to start writing.
